As a Staff Engineer, you'll shape the technical foundation behind identity management, subscriptions, messaging and customer data, helping build a platform that supports personalized user experiences at scale.
This role combines backend engineering, data engineering and architectural leadership.
You'll influence how data flows across systems, how services communicate through event-driven architectures, and how technical decisions support idealo's long-term CRM strategy.
Working closely with Software Engineers, Data Engineers and Product Managers, you'll help define technical direction across multiple domains.
You'll work with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka and AWS services including Redshift, Glue and S3 in a modern cloud-native architecture.
