 About the Role The Tax Controversy and Audit Management team is looking for a Senior Manager to help lead and manage our U.
federal, state and international income tax audits/controversies.
This role will report to the Director of Transfer Pricing and Tax Controversy, and will be an integral part of the broader DoorDash tax team.
Your primary responsibility will be the daily management of our global income tax audits and related controversy matters.
In particular, you will be taking a leadership role in our IRS and state income tax audits.
You will also provide integral assistance on setting our tax controversy and audit strategies.
You will also support other tax planning, income tax provision and reporting matters as needed, including the review and assessment of potential reserve positions as they relate to key tax controversy matters.
You will work closely with Tax, Accounting, Finance, Legal and other business teams.
You will scale processes for growth, taking them from manual to automated where appropriate.

  Develop and implement effective strategies for tax controversy resolution including audits, notice responses, debt resolution, and penalty abatement requests.
Take the lead in gathering information for, and document requests of, tax authorities.
With the assistance of our tax technology teams, design, develop and implement automated solutions and strategies for the collection, analysis and review of the company’s data relevant to its tax audits and disputes.
