ECS is seeking an experienced NIH NIAID Core Technology Services Delivery Lead to work remotely providing leadership and oversight for the for the Core Technology Services task area, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of OEB Infrastructure services.
The Core Technology Services Delivery Lead will be responsible for NIAID’s day-to-day core IT infrastructure activities, including foundational services such as networking and storage, as well as the operation of NIAID’s computing facilities and other services that support NIAID’s technology.
Report on task area status to OEB leadership.
Serve as a point of contact for OEB leadership for task area responsibilities.
Report on technical outages occurring over the past 24 hours.
Report is due Monday through Friday by 8AM (excluding federal holidays and other government closure days).
Enterprise Data Hosting: Operate NIAID’s data storage and hosting systems, including but not limited to storage appliances, data transfer systems, and data backup and protections systems.
Provide data management services, including data access management, data lifecycle management, and long-term data archiving and retention.
Implement new enterprise data storage systems that align with NIAID’s data storage requirements, including but not limited to data availability, data storage performance, and cost effectiveness.
Report on technical outages occurring over the past 24 hours.
Report is due Monday through Friday by 8AM (excluding federal holidays and other government closure days.
