Drive high-level architecture and design decisions for complex software systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and code quality. Lead major technical migration projects, specifically executing our roadmap to transition the platform to Nuxt.js and Server-Side Rendering (SSR). Focus heavily on performance engineering, optimizing site load speed, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO for high-traffic environments. Maintain a heavily hands-on contribution level (coding, architecture, and code reviews) alongside line management responsibilities. Manage team members' performance, lead 1-on-1s, drive career development, and handle work allocation. Drive continuous improvement in development processes, modern tools, and delivery standards across the team.
