UAV Software Engineer

This role entails software modifications to the entire software stack of a major UAV programme.

It requires a strong hands-on technical background in embedded software, drive and learning agility with a clear focus on results, quality, and delivery timelines.

Requisitos

Improve and maintain Ground Control Station (GCS) software to support Flight Test and Operations activities.

Integrate payloads including cameras, gimbals, and mission-specific systems into the aircraft software architecture.

Integrate new sensors, communication systems, and onboard technologies to expand platform capabilities.

• Maintain and improve continuous integration test environments and hardware test benches.

Define, execute, and oversee ground and flight test campaigns to validate software performance.

• Support R&D flight testing in the field, troubleshooting and optimizing software in real-world conditions.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams including Flight Control, Navigation, and Payload Integration to deliver aircraft-level software solutions.

What You'll Need 3+ years of professional experience in software development.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Control Systems, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Strong programming.
