At Quantum Systems, we are building the next generation of autonomous aerial systems.
The Drone Port is a key element of this vision, enabling fully autonomous launch, landing, charging, health monitoring and mission readiness of our UAV platforms.
As a Senior Robotics Engineer, you will play a central role in developing the intelligence that allows the Drone Port and aircraft to interact seamlessly.
You will work on perception algorithms, control systems, embedded software and sensor integration to create reliable autonomous behaviours that operate in real-world environments.
Working closely with experts from Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Systems Engineering Flight Controls, Embedded Software, AI and Flight Test, you will help shape one of the most advanced autonomous drone infrastructure products on the market.
Your work will directly influence the future of fully autonomous BVLOS operations and scalable drone deployments worldwide.
What is your Day to Day Mission:Design and implement robotic capabilities enabling fully autonomous Drone Port operation.
Design and optimize closed-loop control algorithms for ground-based robotic systems and UAV interactions.
Integrate cameras, ranging sensors, IMUs, encoders and additional perception sensors into the overall system architecture.
Design and validate communication interfaces between the Drone Port, aircraft and cloud infrastructure.
Analyse test results, debug complex system behaviour and continuously improve system robustness.
