We are offering a Master Thesis opportunity for a highly motivated student in the field of mechanical engineering, computational mechanics, or related disciplines.
The thesis will focus on FEM-based simulations to optimize mechanical design in laser scanner systems, with a particular emphasis on drift behavior, stability analysis, and dynamic simulations of high-speed motion effects.

Aufgaben Primary.
Conduct dynamic FEM simulations to evaluate system behavior under high-speed motion, including deformation and transient stability effects.
Investigate design optimization strategies to enhance stability, robustness, and long-term performance.
Document methodologies, results, and recommendations in alignment with Novanta’s engineering excellence standards.
Present findings to the engineering leadership team and contribute to the innovation roadmap for next-generation products.
