We are seeking a candidate for a key project leadership role leading project controls operations for our Pacific Area, a portfolio of critical strategic importance for Meta's infrastructure growth.
The Project Controls Lead will be a technical subject matter expert overseeing all cost controls & commercial deliveries on the program and across multiple General Contractors.
This person will be a critical partner for the Delivery Team.
This position will work closely within the DEC (Design, Engineering and Construction) Business Controls team and various internal departments including Site Project Management teams, Pre-Construction, Contracts, Finance, Accounting, Sourcing and Operations Engineering.
ResponsibilitiesTechnical lead in Cost Controls, including budget management, forecasting, change management diligence / Owner Change Order quality, invoice review, accruals, and risk facilitation* Analyze and communicate the projects Project Controls Health (financial, change, and risk) to project and DEC leadership* Identify project commercial risk mitigation opportunities in collaboration with the Schedule Lead, Delivery team, and XFN partners, and drive those opportunities into resolution* Support the Preconstruction team in the review of General Contractor contracts & commercial terms, gathering of historical data, incorporation of master contract terms, communication, and management of finalized internal budget* Provide support of Areas projects’ cost forecasts, cash flow risks, and variances monthly/quarterly for communication to Site Leadership and Strategic Planning & Analytics partners* Direct communication with Schedule Lead to ensure collaboration and alignment of project health between cost and schedule and overall project risk* Approximately 25-50% travel to other Data Center sites and Company HeadquartersQualifications10+ years of.
