We believe that automating the ordinary frees humans to do the extraordinary, and we're building the end-to-end robotics infrastructure to make that possible - hardware, software, and AI in one stack that just works.
As our Working Student – Robot Pilot / Data Collection (m/f/d), you are the hands-on operational backbone of our physical AI data pipeline.
If something is broken, you fix it.
If something can be automated, you build it.
You will directly operate state-of-the-art robotic systems to collect high-quality training data, playing a foundational role in how our robots learn new tasks through imitation and perception.
Your ResponsibilitiesOperate industrial robotics equipment using VR-based teleoperation systems and alternative control interfaces on-site.
Demonstrate complex manipulation tasks to generate clean, high-precision datasets for AI and imitation learning models.
Record and track repeated training episodes systematically, adhering strictly to experimental procedures and guidelines.
Review collected data episodes to perform immediate quality assurance and flag obvious operational or recording errors.
Document technical bugs, edge cases, and system anomalies clearly to support hardware and software engineering teams.
Provide continuous user feedback to improve the design, ergonomics, and usability of our robot control interfaces.
We're looking for someone who has:Currently enrolled in or completed vocational training/a degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience with technical devices, gaming, VR headsets, remote-control systems, or activities requiring strong hand-eye coordination.
High concentration, patience, and attention to detail during repet.
