The Accounting team is responsible for all accounting transactions, processes, reporting, and policies governance, including actuals analysis and reporting insights.
Commercial Finance focuses on forward-looking planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, deal analysis, and general business partnering.
About the Role:The Commercial Finance Manager role is in the Commercial Finance team, and will partner with our CTO and Technology Organisation.
The role reports directly to Hawk-Eye's Finance Director, with regular interaction with Hawk-Eye and Sony Sports leadership.
This role has real P&L impact, as R&D is one of our biggest areas of spend in the business.
Budgeting & forecasting: Own the annual budget, monthly re-forecasts, and long-range planning for the technology organisation.
Headcount planning: Partner on workforce planning and reporting, given the people-intensive nature of and R&D organisation.
Financial infrastructure build-out: Build reporting infrastructure and mechanisms from the ground up, including: headcount reporting and planning, capitalisation and tax credit models, product P&Ls,.
