Data Engineer

Role: Data Engineer Location: Manchester – Hybrid working Salary: £44k OTE PHMG is continuing to develop and mature its data capability, focusing on modernising our data platform and enhancing the way we work.

As part of this continued development, we are looking to strengthen our Data Engineering team and maximise the value from the wealth of data held across the organisation.

  We are looking for a Data Engineer to help design, build and maintain reliable, scalable data solutions.

Working as part of an established Data Engineering team, you will contribute to the development of our data platform, strengthen engineering practices and help improve the quality and reliability of data across the organisation.

  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Engineer with strong SQL and Python.

Play a key role in developing and improving our Microsoft Fabric data platform.

Contribute to the design and development of data warehouse, lakehouse and data integration solutions.

Apply strong engineering practices across source control, CI/CD, testing, documentation, monitoring and error handling.

• Develop and maintain data models to support reporting, analytics and wider business use cases.

• Collaborate with other Data Engineers and technical teams to improve data architecture, platform performance and engineering processes.

Work closely with Reporting, Insights and Data Science teams to understand.
