Reporting to the Director of External Affairs, the Senior Manager, Regulatory Inspections and Strategic Response will manage Checkout's most important regulatory situations end-to-end, whether planned or unplanned.
In practice, that means two connected mandates.
The first is the planned, cyclical work of running Checkout's regulatory inspections and examinations — a methodical, deadline-driven discipline that forms the steady-state core of the role.
The second is the unplanned work: leading the response to the exceptional, time-critical and commercially sensitive situations that require a calm cross-functional leader to bring them to a resolution.
You will be the person the business turns to when a regulator opens an inspection, and when a sensitive cross-functional situation needs to be stabilised quickly and handled with judgement.
