An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Specialist to join Pride Veterinary Referrals and support the continued development of our specialist-led ECC service.
Your role will involve managing a diverse and challenging emergency and critical care caseload, working closely with our multidisciplinary referral teams, primary care colleagues, and dedicated out-of-hours service to deliver exceptional patient care.
Pride Veterinary Referrals is a multidisciplinary referral hospital based in Derby and forms part of the Scarsdale Veterinary Group.
We provide specialist-led services in anaesthesia and analgesia, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, neurology, oncology and ophthalmology, alongside advanced practitioner-led cardiology and rehabilitation services.
The hospital provides 24/7 veterinary care supported by a dedicated night team and state-of-the-art facilities.
We have five operating theatres, a comprehensive imaging suite including MRI, CT, radiography and ultrasound, and an on-site laboratory.
We also work closely with the University of Nottingham, supporting the training and development of future veterinary professionals.
Our experienced team of more than 100 veterinary professionals work collaboratively across services to provide outstanding patient outcomes.
The ECC service plays a vital role within the hospital, managing emergency admissions and supporting the care of complex referral cases across multiple disciplines.
