Your Mission:We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer (all genders) to help us design and develop the mechanical systems on board our fully battery-electric aircraft (CS-23).
You will contribute to the definition and development of key aircraft mechanical systems, including the Environmental Control System, landing gear, ice protection, interiors and other mechanical systems.
Your work will span the full system development lifecycle, from system-level.
You will work closely with overall aircraft design, structures, flight physics, propulsion and other engineering teams to ensure optimal system integration and will play a key role in the detailed definition of the overall aircraft.
Your Day-to-Day:Define and derive system-level requirements for mechanical aircraft systems based on CONOPS, aircraft-level requirements and applicable regulations.
Contribute to the definition and development of mechanical systems to achieve the required level of maturity at each aircraft design phase.
Define and manage functional and physical interfaces between mechanical systems and other aircraft disciplines.
Your Profile:Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
8+ years of aerospace experience, with a focus on aircraft mechanical systems.
Experience with systems engineering, including requirements definition, functional analysis and system integration.
