You will play a key role in designing, developing, and operating modern data platforms, pipelines, and services that enable efficient data processing and analysis.
You will:Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient data platforms and architectures.
Design, develop, andmaintainrobust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
Build,deployand managedatastorage systems and databases, such as Apache Iceberg or MongoDB.
Writing Servicesfor data ingestion,accessand processingCollaborate with data analysts to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning use cases.
Document data models, processes, architectures, and best practices.
Contribute to a collaborative and innovative engineering culture while working alongside a talented team at our Munich headquartersWhat we're looking forA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong experience in data engineering and modern data platform development.
Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data engineering best practices.
Hands-on experience with Python, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, and/or Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
Experience with modern software development practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and GitHub Actions.
Experience building and operating cloud-based solutions, ideally on AWS.
Familiarity with healthcare standards such as FHIR or DICOM is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving.
