Shape the Future of Construction with Co-reactive.
Our goal is to make COâ‚‚-efficient construction possible for everyone, everywhere.
Using our systems, we produce a sustainable cement substitute that binds COâ‚‚ permanently and with long-term durability.
We are currently scaling our production facilities to an industrial level — and we need you to help us do it! We’re a fast-growing, dynamic team of more than 10 employees, bringing together our technical center, production, and office at a single location in Erkrath, right near Düsseldorf.
Your Role: In this thesis project, you will contribute to the development and validation of a computer model for Co-reactive’s carbon mineralization process.
Your primary task will be to analyse real data from our newly commissioned demonstration plant and compare it with predictions from process simulations.
You will work closely with our engineering and R&D teams and gain first‑hand experience in a real industrial environment developing CO₂‑negative building materials.
Tasks Organize, preprocess, and structure datasets from the demonstration plant Quantification of deviations between model prediction and real-world data Implementation of improved modelling assumptions.
You have a strong interest for thermodynamics, computer science and chemical process modelling You are highly motivated to contribute to the development of sustainable construction materials and the growth of a startup company.
We are a dynamic team with flat hierarchies and a hands-on mentality, meaning decisions are made and implemented quick.
