Join our team and help us continue to make Cirrus Logic an exceptional place to grow your career! The Facilities Technician is a hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day operation, upkeep, and presentation of the Edinburgh site.
This position provides first-line response to facilities issues, supports preventive and reactive maintenance, assists with moves and minor works, and works closely with contractors and internal stakeholders to keep the building running safely and efficiently.
This is a practical role suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being visible on site.
Identify, report, and help resolve building, office, and lab-related issues to minimise disruption.
Contractor and Works Support Support and escort contractors on site, ensuring work areas are safe, tidy, and compliant.
Help monitor contractor work and escalate issues to the Facilities Manager or Facilities Engineer as required.
Assist with small projects, minor refurbishments, and facilities upgrades.
Office, Lab, and Support Services Support desk moves, furniture moves, and basic workspace changes.
Assist with lab and equipment installations where required, limited to non-specialist.
