JustPlay is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Working Student in Controlling (all genders) to support our growing Finance team in Berlin.
You'll work closely with our Senior Controller and FP&A team on reporting, budgeting and cost analysis, with real responsibility and direct insight into how a scale-up with an international shareholder is steered by numbers.
Job ResponsibilitiesSupport monthly reporting and month-end tasks by preparing data, updating reports, checking figures and collecting accrual inputs with AccountingHelp maintain the budget and forecast, including updating actuals and preparing actual-vs-budget overviews for cost-center ownersTrack and analyze key cost blocks such as SaaS, cloud, consulting and payment fees, and flag unusual developmentsReconcile KPI data from our BI tool (Metabase) against invoices and the ledger, and help clean up inconsistenciesPrepare analyses, charts and slides for business reviews, and help improve and automate recurring finance processesJob RequirementsCurrently enrolled student in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar fieldFirst practical experience in controlling, accounting, audit or finance, plus a basic understanding of P&L, balance sheet and accrualsGood Excel/Google Sheets.
