The SPSL Engineer will play a key role in the fabrication of new designs of SPSs, that will be further tested by colleagues on characterization testbenches.
The role will have a strong focus on in-situ localization of quantum dots (QDs) at cryogenic temperatures and lithography over the localized QDs with laser writing techniques.
The successful candidate will work closely with our SPS R&D team, SPS production team, fabrication engineers, equipment owners, and cleanroom operators to improve performance of the SPSs and successfully transfer R&D advances to our production mainline.
This is a highly hands-on position requiring a strong understanding of optics and semiconductor fabrication, rigorous experimental methodology, and the ability to investigate complex interactions between process parameters and device performance.
