It reports jointly to the Chief People Officer and the Chief AI Officer, because doing this well is as much about people, capability and how Unity actually works day to day as it is about the technology itself.
It suits someone who lives at the frontier of what's possible with AI — building with the latest tools themselves and evolving their own approach every few weeks, not working from a playbook that's a year out of date.
It suits someone who gets real satisfaction from building capability in others, reimagining how work actually gets done, and shipping things that stick, rather than setting technology direction from the top.
You'll be building the operational muscle of Unity's AI Centre of Excellence from scratch, and sequencing what matters most first.
What you'll ownFirm-wide AI capability and training: design and drive practical AI upskilling across client-facing and enablement teams, working closely with the Performance & Development Lead so AI capability is built into onboarding and ongoing development, not run as a separate initiativeReimagining the work: spot where new AI capability means Unity can remove whole steps or approach a problem completely differently, not just automate what already exists, then get alongside client teams and enablement functions to make it realAutomation and adoption: identify, prioritise and deliver automation that maximises the value Unity gets from the AI tools already in use, and evaluate new ones on their meritsRole and ways-of-working design: as AI takes on more of the work, help Unity rethink who does what, where judgement sits and how junior people learn — including, as whole workflows move onto Weaver, designing the team and role changes that follow.
