To support this mission, Syngenta’s Product Biology Team is seeking an R&D Scientist 1 in Lincoln, NE.
This role will conduct agricultural science research throughout Nebraska, while actively contributing as a member of the Heartland Region's Crop Protection Field Development team.
Remote across Nebraska Accountabilities: Conduct early-stage research trials with an emphasis on insect, weed, and plant pathogen management, as well as studies related to seed care and biological solutions.
Oversee and collaborate on quality efficacy trials, supporting comprehensive biological profiling and label creation for both new and existing product concepts across all crop types and indications within the region.
Participate in or oversee project planning and the development of experimental objectives, ensure the effective implementation of trials, and facilitate the generation or acquisition of relevant data and information.
Analyze trial data and offer recommendations for further development.
Identify opportunities for expanding product labels, exploring new applications, and implementing innovative solutions.
Organize trials in collaboration with universities, extension partners, and contract research organizations.
