For an internationally recognised manufacturer of precision motors and innovative drive solutions with Japanese roots, we are looking for a Product Marketing Engineer(m/w/d) to strengthen its European operations.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of engineering, sales and international project management, bringing together customer.
You will play a key role in developing customised solutions and supporting new products from initial samples through to serial production, working closely with customers across a range of industries.
Tasks:Provide technical support to the sales team in response to customer enquiriesEvaluate customer requirements for customised products and develop suitable technical proposals in cooperation with the engineering team in JapanCoordinate product launches from functional samples through B-samples and C-samples to serial productionAct as the technical interface between customers’ engineering teams and the engineering team in JapanCoordinate technical discussions and regular online meetings with customers and colleagues in JapanParticipate in customer visits alongside the sales teamSupport initial testing of returned products in quality claim cases and contribute to 8D reportsHelp expand local R&D capabilities, including laboratory and testing equipmentBenchmark competitor products in cooperation with the engineering team in JapanSupport and participate in trade fairsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably with a background in mechanical or electrical engineeringKnowledge of BLDC and stepper motors is highly desirableExperience in customised product development, project launches or similar technical projectsProcess-oriented approach; knowledge of FMEA is an advantageFluent English; basic Japanese or German language.
