The teamBroker Terms is a growing team that owns the full offer terms strategy for businesses that come to iwoca through a broker – both first-time and repeat customers.
It sets pricing, loan amounts, durations, and broker commissions, and owns the offer user interface (UI) brokers use in the Introducer Portal.
The broker network is iwoca's biggest acquisition channel, and the team is directly responsible for the terms that win those customers.
The team is small and interdisciplinary – commercial strategy, engineering and data science.
It turns business questions into quantitative problems, and findings into timely decisions.
It works on short-term gains and longer-term bets, and judges both by Customer Lifetime Value – what a business is worth to iwoca across all its borrowing.
There are no fixed office days, and the team meets up for lunch once or twice a month.
