Mandatory Internship -Geographic Information Systems (m/w/d) -Full-time or Part-time

Energy Competence Centre GmbH is looking for a dedicated Geographic Information Systems Intern (m/f/d) for a “Pflichtpraktikum” (mandatory internship as part of their study program), full-time or part-time in Berlin-Charlottenburg.

Our objective is to bring renewable energies into countries where these technologies are not yet widespread and contribute with that to the development of an ecological energy generation globally.

Tasks Maintaining and updating GIS project databases.

Creating maps and supporting spatial analysis for project related needs.

• Supporting project scouting and feasibility studies and development of onshore renewable energy projects, especially wind & PV, as well as offshore wind energy projects in various countries worldwide.

Specific and precise location search for such projects using GIS tools.

Carrying out research in the field of mapping technologies, including suitable methods, software and hardware.

• Supporting the Project Development and Business Development team (PD and BD team) in the development of various infrastructure projects.

Assisting company management, PD and BD team with day-to-day business tasks.

Requisitos

Student in geomatic, environmental engineering or similar

Experience with Geographic Information Systems.

Experience with ESRI ArcGISPro.

Experience with ArcGIS Online is highly appreciated.

First professional experience is a plus.

Business fluent in English.

Experience in the field of renewable energies is a plus.

Other languages, especially Arabic, French and/or German are a plus.

Team spirit and flexibility, independent working style and reliability.
