The Financial Analyst II plays a key role in providing financial analysis and operational support to senior management and executives.
This individual supports the development and coordination of the company’s financial planning processes, models, and systems, as well as corporate, management, and KPI reporting.
The ideal candidate will build strong partnerships between Finance and the broader organization by delivering clear, thoughtful analysis that helps leaders better manage the business.
In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, FP&A and provide financial support across planning, control, and analytical activities.
The insights generated by this role contribute directly to PROS’ success as we continue to execute our profitable growth strategy.
A Day in the Life of the Financial Analyst II Assist in the annual and periodic budgeting and forecasting processes, including support of business unit budgets Maintain and update financial planning and reporting models used for forecasts, budgets, and performance analysis Identify trends and emerging issues to support a dynamic and evolving business environment Partner with Accounting to support the monthly close, reporting, and forecast processes Prepare and support monthly senior management and Board reporting deliverables Produce ad hoc analyses and reports for senior leaders to support decision‑making Analyze, synthesize, and translate data into meaningful insights that inform strategic decisions by senior leadership Conduct research related to financial metrics, benchmarks, and trend analysis Participate in cross‑functional projects and business analyses Contribute to the development and implementation of FP&A process and reporting improvements .
