As an Event Management Operations Analyst, you support outage event planning and daily management across Gas Power Services, helping strengthen performance, standardize ways of working, and improve the customer and team experience.
In this role, you help make sure the right actions happen at the right time.
You work closely with regional and functional teams to improve planning, execution, reporting, and issue resolution.
You bring structure to daily management, spot trends early, and help teams focus on the changes that create the greatest value.
What you’ll do Design, track, and follow up on key performance indicators that align with team and business goals Identify trends, trigger alerts when performance moves outside agreed thresholds, and support timely action Help improve outage planning, handoffs, scope management, and execution rhythms across the outage lifecycle Support management operating reviews and help drive corrective actions based on performance trends and root-cause analysis Build and maintain clear, practical dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI Automate recurring reports and data workflows to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency Support the rollout of standard work practices across regions and functions, working with frontline teams and regional stakeholders Help develop quality work instructions and standard work instructions through cross-functional collaboration Lead structured problem-solving efforts to identify root causes and deliver lasting fixes Support internal communications, including training materials and newsletters, to help teams stay align.
