The salary range varies depending on experience, between €90,000 and €110,000 gross per year.

We are looking for a Lead Structural Analysis Engineer to join a highly specialized engineering team working on complex space programs.
The company operates at the forefront of European space technology, developing critical hardware for in-orbit applications, launch environments, and qualification testing, with strong involvement in long-term ESA-backed missions.
Tasks Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6 structural analysis engineers working on space programs Drive advanced finite element simulations (modal, static, dynamic, thermal, coupled analyses) using FEMAP/NASTRAN Develop and optimize high-fidelity FEM models for space hardware systems Ensure compliance with ESA/ECSS standards and validation methodologies Perform verification through analytical hand calculations and supporting spreadsheet models Improve simulation workflows and automation using Python, MATLAB, or FORTRAN Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and customers to define and refine technical solutions Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and ESA-level reviews.
